In Memory of Dr. Junior Hill

Dr. Junior Hill and his wife, Carole

From the time I met and interviewed him in the early years of this publication and through the years since, Dr. Junior Hill has always been an encouragement to this writer and has been supportive of this publication and all of the articles in The Christian View. After I published the article from my interview with him, I asked Dr. Hill, and he granted me permission to publish some of his sermon messages, in print and online, in The Christian View magazine. It was always a blessing to hear him preach the Word of God.

I and fellow Christians will always remember and honor his service to the Lord Jesus Christ and his leading many to the Lord through delivering the Gospel message and by living a life well lived, a godly life pleasing to his Lord. As with other preachers of the Word I have interviewed and came to know, I will always remember and appreciate his kindness, and I  highly respect him.

As other faithful preachers of the Word who went before him, he has now met face to face the Saviour he preached about and to whom he led others. When he entered heaven on January 3, 2024, he surely heard these words from the Lord: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

He is deservedly respected as a faithful man of God and as a Southern gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Please join with prayers for his wife, Carole, and all of their family in the homegoing of their loved one. He will be missed first and foremost by his precious family. They have the assurance that this earthly life is not all there is, and a reunion one day in heaven will be for all of eternity.
